摘要：The invention relates to a device for the continuous casting of metals, especiallysteel, for use in a solidified-bending method. Said device comprises, downstream of the

continuous casting mold, a straight strand guide () and a bending device () that releasesthe cast strand path () so that the cold strand () can be introduced. The object of theinvention is to utilize the height of the device that has so far not been used for

supporting the strand or to reduce the height of the entire installation. To this end, thebending device () comprises a folding segment () that is pivoted on the fixed side () andthat is provided with a row of rollers () that limit the bending path () in the operationalposition. The bending device further comprises on the loose side () a loose element ()that can be swiveled into the operational position () or that can be swiveled out from thisposition. The bending rollers () of said loose element form the counter-rollers () to therow of rollers () in the operational position ().
