And talk with the Ss like this Wow! There are many shoes. The red shoes are nice. These shoes are nice. I like them. Can I try them on? 3. Present more pictures. Lead Ss to say These shoes are nice. I like them. Can I try them on? 4. Present more pictures. Lead Ss to say The sweater is nice. I like it. Can I try it on?

5. Point to the shoes and say I wear size 37. What size do you wear? Elicit the Ss to say Size…. Let me try size…. 6. Create situations to drill the sentence structures It’s too big / small/just right. They’re too big/small/just right. 7. Ask and answer to practice the sentences like this: T: Can I help you? Ss: Yes, please. I want a …. T: What size? Ss: Can I try size…please? T: Of course. Here you are. Ss: How much are they? T: They’re… yuan. / They’re… dollar(s). 8. Present the picture on P58 and introduce it. 9. Watch the video and then answer the questions. A. What does the salesperson often say? B. What does John want to buy? C. What size does John wear? 10. Check the answers after watching. 11. Listen and repeat the dialogue. 12. Act out the dialogue in a small group of 3. Remind them to do the corresponding gesture. Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1.
