摘要：There is disclosed a sawing machine including a workbench, a band saw pivotallyinstalled on the workbench, a weight movable between an idle position on the
workbench and an operative position on the band saw and an adjustable torque providerfor providing an adjustable torque to the band saw. The adjustable torque is set to a
maximum when the weight is in the idle position in order to lift the band saw from theworkbench. The adjustable torque is set to a minimum when the weight is in the workingin order to lower the band saw toward the workbench.
