摘要：An oxygen generating device (11, 211, 311) to which a gas mixture containingoxygen is fed, and which is operable to separate the gas mixture into oxygen rich andoxygen depleted gas components, the device (11, 211, 311) comprising a first material (36- 36; 236; 336) which when at an elevated temperature at or above a minimum operatingtemperature, is active to separate the gas mixture into oxygen rich and oxygen depletedgas components wherein a second material (40 - 40; 240; 340) is provided which producesa heating effect within the device when an electrical current passes therethrough, to heatthe gas mixture at least when the gas mixture is at a temperature below the minimumoperating temperature.
