Dear Sir or Madam:

I am the student who is senior two in our San Hui High School. I am writing to apply for the opportunity of being a volunteer who will help the students with their English in Hope School this summer holiday.

Firstly, I am in favor of the idea that students take a very important role in the society, and they deserve more and better teaching. Then, as for me, I’m outgoing and willing to get along well with kids. What’s more, I am always helpful and warmhearted in my classmates’ eyes. And in my parents’ opinion, I am independent, that is, I have the ability to deal with some certain problems. Finally, if I am lucky to get the chance, I will prepare my course before my every class and play some meaningful games to inspire and motivate them.
