摘要：A light sensor and method of detecting light using the light sensor areprovided. The light sensor includes a container having an anode compartment and acathode compartment. The anode compartment has an anode and the cathodecompartment has a cathode. The container also includes a transparent portion that

allows light into the anode compartment. A membrane separates the anode

compartment and the cathode compartment. The membrane is able to allow protons topass from the anode compartment to the cathode compartment. The anodecompartment includes a photon-converting compound (“PCC”) for generatingelectrons by reaction with light. Also included are an imaging device and a method ofusing the imaging device.
