摘要： The deleterious effects of high capacitance in large area raster scan picturetubes, especially when these are used in video cameras, can be eliminated through thefollowing characteristics: 1) a plurality of transparent signal electrodes strips (304, Fig. 3),2) a unique structure of solid state multi-layer designed to produce a sensor-target layerdisplaced electrons (DELST below) for purposes of analysis (602, Fig. 6), 3) with andwithout photoconductive gain in DELST structure and 4) with and without intensifier gainin DELST structure. The appropriate combination of these four features allows theconstruction of devices of extremely high capacitance video sensors having framesproduced by the beams scanning electron \"low and high\" speed, or by a laser scanningbeam. The invention provides a general approach to the selection of these features andtheir combination with the type of the most suitable scanner for each application. Thechoice depends on the system requirements, such as speed, spatial resolution, dynamicrange, size and cost of the sensor-target layer.
