摘要：A laminar battery (26) has an anode layer, an ionically conductive electrolytelayer, and a cathode layer. The electrolyte layer is interposed between the anode layerand the cathode layer, and the layers are assembled to form an electrical cell. A pair of

electrically conductive terminals are in electrical contact with the anode layer and thecathode layer. A protective sheet material (28) envelops the laminar battery and is heatsealed at the periphery of the laminar battery (26) and about the terminals (32,34) toexclude air and moisture. The terminals (32,34) extend from or are accessible through thisprotective sheet material (28) for connection to a device which is to be powered by thelaminar battery (26).
