摘要：A tungsten-halogen incandescent lamp which includes a vitreous envelope, aninert gas and halogen fill, and two pairs of straight, parallel lead-in wires retained withinthe envelope's press-sealed end, each of said pairs having a tungsten filament supportedthereon within the envelope. The pairs of wires occupy respective parallel planes withinthe press-sealed end with one pair laterally offset from the other. A method for makingthe lamp is also disclosed, in addition to a vehicle headlight particularly suited forutilizing the lamp.
