摘要：The invention relates to a metallurgical vessel (1) for transporting melt-liquidmetals. Said vessel comprises a metal jacket that receives a heat-resistant lining, saidjacket comprising two stiffening rings (7,8). Said stiffening rings extend in the peripheraldirection, fastened at an axial distance to each other, and are integrated into the metaljacket. Two lifting lugs (11, 11') are disposed on the exterior of the vessel on oppositesides thereof and are supported by respective shield segments (9, 9') that are linked withthe stiffening rings. The transitional zone from the stiffening rings to the shield segmentsis rounded off. Optionally, a lid support (14) which has a truncated cross-section is fixedon the vessel rim. The shield segment is designed as a one-piece element and is providedin at least its upper part with arms (19, 19', 20, 20') that extend in both peripheraldirections and whose cross-sections, in the end zones, are adapted to the respectivecontiguous stiffening ring and are provided with a bevel edge.
