摘要：The invention relates to a clamping and/or braking device, comprising a housing(3), in which at least one discoid element (11) is housed, with a first end (11a) supportedon the housing and which transmits clamping or braking forces to an object (17) or anoperating element (21) with a second end (11b). The discoid element has a convex flexingregion, at least in the starting position thereof, embodied to be resistant to pressure andyet elastically flexible such as to form a spring element between the housing and anoperating end of the discoid element, whereby an essentially sealed pressure chamber(15) is formed between the convex side of the discoid element and the housing, whichmay be pressurised and the discoid element is embodied such that, on pressurising thepressure chamber, a movement of the second end of the operating element in thedirection of the object occurs as a result of the reduction in the curvature of the flexingregion, or an increase in the clamping and/or braking force transmitted is achieved.
