一、 教学目标与要求

语言技能目标：

能够用英语向别人简单介绍自己的兴趣和爱好.

语言知识目标：

1、能够正确听、说、认读以下词语.

2、能够正确地听、说、认读以下句子：

I like planting flowers.

情感态度目标：

1、进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣.

2、能够积极主动地参与课堂活动,大胆开口,主动模仿.

3、培养学生有益健康的兴趣和爱好.

三、教学过程

Step1. Greeting and introduction

Step2. Sing a song: Ten Little Indian Boys Step3. Leading-in

Ask students “Do you like singing？ I like singing. So my hobby is singing. I have many hobbies, such as dancing and so on, but I want to know what your hobbies are. (导出新课,板书课题,并教授新单词hobby.)

Step4. Presentation

Show some pictures or objects, ask and answer.

T: Look at these pictures, what’re these？

Ss: They are toys.

T: Yes, do you like toys？ I like collecting toys. My hobby is collecting toys. (在句子中教授新单词toy.)

T: （Point and ask）

--- What’s your hobby？

--- I like –ing… / My hobby is –ing…

(板书呈现句型, 同时以此方法教授新词: collecting stamps, candy paper, 并操练重点句型What’s your hobby？ --- I like –ing… / My hobby is –ing…）

Step5. Let’s chant

Step6. Pair work

Show them some pictures. Have them ask and answer in pairs like this:

--- What’s your hobby？

--- I like collecting stamps. /My hobby is collecting stamps.

And then have a relay match. After that teacher conclude: Keep a nice hobby and love our life!

Step8. Group work

Have them ask and answer in groups.

T: --- What’s your hobby？

S: --- I like singing. / My hobby is singing.

T: --- What’s her hobby？

Step9. Sum up

T-S sum up together.

四、Homework

1. Write each word twice.

2. Make a survey of your parents’ hobbies and write a report about your family.
