One day, Tom and his little brother Paul played together beside the well in the courtyard. They had fun so much that they didn’t notice that the danger was around them. Suddenly, Tom fell into the well carelessly. Paul shouted loudly for help, but nobody else could hear him except his brother Tom. Paul looked down to the bottom of the well and saw Tom soaking in the water. Then he run home and bring a rope. He tried to pull Tom out of the well by the rope but he didn’t succeed. A few minutes later, Paul came up with another idea. He tied the end of the rope to a tree and threw the other end to his brother. Finally, with the help of the rope, Tom climbed out of the well with half wet body. Paul was so happy that his brother wasn’t injured and Tom was so proud that he had a brave and smart little brother.
