足球是世界上最流行的球类运动。现在越来越多韵人喜欢看足球比赛，当他们的球队参加比赛的时候，他们可以废寝忘食地为他们的队员加油。我认为自从中国足协建立以来，许多中国足球的比赛踢得一场比一场好了。但是我们的足球要冲出亚洲、奔向世界还有很长的路要走。我们应该向国外的球队学习，邀请一些外国的运动员和教练到我们中间来。大连万达、上海申花、广东太阳神都是最出色的球队。

The day was sunny, but I was in a bad mood. At the oncoming party I Would have to do some cleaning, for I was considered unable to dance or sing. I eould not but accept the task. During the party, I tried hard to keep the room clean, and after he party I got rid of the rubbish. When seeing all those present joyful, I felt my job worthwhile.

When being told that the entire room would have been a dustbin without me, I thought of a well-known saying, \"There must be a use for my talent.\"My friends, you may have no special talent, but as long as you do your utmost to dowell everything useful, you will find everything is beautiful at every corner of your life.

Last week I saw a young man giving up his seat to a woman with a baby in her arms on a bus. To my great surprise, the woman did not thank the young man; on the contrary, she glared at him coldly, which made him embarrassed.

This incident set me thinking. If everyone acted like that woman, who would like to help others? And what would our society be like?

Privacy of Famous People

In recent years，many newspapers and magazines focus on the activities of film stars，pop singers and some other famous men and women. Reporters disguise their identities，infiltrate the subject’s business and family，or even bug and wiretap them——to get the news by whatever means are necessary.

It is not difficult to explain the reason for their surprising amount of interest in famous people’s lives. They are in the spotlight，renowned or notorious，they are the topic of ordinary people who like to know everything about them. To satisfy their curiosity，or “the people’s right to know”，journalists often find it their duty to report their activities.

More over，what matters to a newspaper or a magazine is the number of readers. A large readership means the rise in the circulation of their publications，

hence a huge profit. Since film stars and pop singers are newsworthy figures，and their stories draws far more attention than those of other people，it is natural that the press tries to attract them to buy their magazines by featuring private lives of famous people.

How ever，those exposed people can be severely injured by such press attention. Sensational stories about their private lives cause great unhappiness to them. To escape reporters，they can’t even lead a normal life. Sometimes their lives will be in danger. For example，Princess Diana died in a car accident as she attempted to escape photographers in a chase through Paris.

Famous people are also citizens. They have the right to keep their own privacy like ordinary people——the basic right which should be respected，protected and guaranteed by our laws in whatever circumstances.
