摘要：The scaffold has props adjustable in height with inner (1) and outer (2) tubesand bracing members (8) between props. The bracing members are attachable to eitherthe inner or outer tubes by brackets (11). The tubes have a cross-section shaped so thatthe brackets position the bracing members approximately in the plane between thecentroidal axes (18) of two adjoining props. The eccentricity of the force carried by thebracing member w.r.t. the centroidal axis of the prop is minimised. The extended lengthof inner tube from the prop is restrained by its connection to a bracket.
